Every engagement is grounded in the Borderless Sovereignty Index — a proprietary model that scores 217 jurisdictions on structural viability over a 10–20 year planning horizon. The BSI evaluates institutional resilience, fiscal architecture, programme durability, and the structural signals that precede credibility degradation. Specific methodology, data sources, and weightings are not disclosed.

The same analytical infrastructure informs our publications — Borderless Living and The Long Memo — which provide ongoing sovereign strategy intelligence and geopolitical analysis for our subscriber base. The advisory practice and the publications draw on the same research. The editorial independence between them is structural.

Engagement Structure

Every engagement begins with a private briefing: a structured assessment of the client's current jurisdictional architecture, planning objectives, and whether our practice is the appropriate resource for the situation. We do not accept engagements where the scope does not warrant independent counsel.

Where the engagement proceeds, we develop the strategic framework, coordinate with qualified specialists in each relevant jurisdiction, and maintain oversight of the mandate through execution. The client receives a single point of analytical accountability across what would otherwise be a fragmented set of professional relationships.

In select jurisdictions where we maintain deep operational capability — Italy being the most developed — we can manage the full arc from strategic assessment through on-the-ground implementation, including citizenship-by-descent claims, residency applications, and settlement coordination.
